This policy explains what personal data Hive Planner Pro (rc920.app/hive) collects, why, and what your rights are. Hive Planner Pro is made by RC920 Application Lab, the Netherlands. Contact: support@rc920.app.
What we collect
- Account data from Google. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture URL. We only request the basic email and profile scopes. We never get your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
- Purchase data. When you buy, Stripe processes the payment. We receive a payment reference, the amount, currency and your email address. We never see or store your card details.
- Shared plans. If someone shares a plan with you, you sign in with Google to view it. While you have a shared plan open, the owner and other viewers see your first name. The owner sees the first names of everyone viewing their plan.
- Your plans. The hive layouts you create (building positions, alliance names, member city names you type in) are saved to your account so you can open them on any device.
- Shared ideas. If you upload a screenshot under "Share your hive ideas", we store that image (and any note you add) and email it to our inbox. Don't upload images with personal details you don't want us to see.
- Technical data. Our hosting and database providers keep short-lived server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Why we use it
- To sign you in and link your purchase to your account (performance of our agreement with you).
- To store and sync your plans (performance of our agreement).
- To keep records of purchases as required by tax and accounting law (legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure and working (legitimate interest).
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: sign-in and database, hosted in the EU (Ireland).
- Stripe: payments.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Google: sign-in.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage only for things the app needs: keeping you signed in, remembering your last opened plan and your map view. There are no tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and plans for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your plans and account data. Purchase records are kept for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email support@rc920.app and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
